Legendary singer Don Ho, the Don Ho, died of heart failure Saturday at the age of 76. He performed what turned out to be his final show in Waikiki on Thursday - just two days before his death. Ho had been suffering from heart problems for years and had actually undergone an experimental stem cell procedure in Thailand in 2005. A Hawaiian promoter who attended the singer's last show said, "Don was in great spirits. He was fine."
The rockin'est Ho around is survived by his wife, Haumea, and his ten chidren. TEN CHILDREN!
R.I.P. Big Ho.
We should all drink a glass of champagne and sing "Tiny Bubbles" in his honor today...sorry to see him go.
