A lot of people don't listen when the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) or PETA call for action on behalf of animals but the NFL is letting us know that they have heard our cries is in the Michael Vick case - loud and clear. Player Michael Vick has been told not to attend his team's training camp.
ONE STEP CLOSER TO JUSTICE FOR THE DOGS!
Animal rights groups, including the HSUS and PETA, have been urging the NFL to kick quarterback Michael Vick to the proverbial curb since his indictment on charges of "competitive dogfighting, procuring and training pit bulls for fighting and conducting the enterprise across state lines." .
Vick, 27, has been with the Atlanta Falcons since 2001 which is when the dogfighting operation, "Bad News Kennels," began on a Virginia property owned by Vick. Dogs were routinely forced to fight to the death - or close to it - and were often tortured and killed by being wetted down and then electrocuted (for one example). The remains of seven dogs were found on the premises during a search by the Department of Agriculture on June 7.
ARSHOLES! ALL OF YOU WHO ARE ALLEGEDLY INVOLVED. MAY YOU BE EATEN ALIVE BY A PACK OF RABID DOGS!
Nike is Vick's shoe sponsor and they just recently advised they will not be releasing Vick's fifth signature shoe but that the four previous shoes and three shirts bearing his name will remain in stores. BLECH!
Legally, Vick (and the others including Purnell A. Peace, Quanis L. Phillips and Tony Taylor) face up to six years in prison, $350,000 in fines and restitution. IT'S NOT ENOUGH! NOT ENOUGH! NOT ENOUGH!
Professional athletes and all these other celebrities need to be treated as us simple folk and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
FRY THE PHUCKERS!
DICKHEAD SHOULD BE IN PRISON FOR LIFE!
