Need Some Tequila with that Lyme?

According to Ok! magazine, Peter Sarsgaard was stricken with Lyme's disease while enjoying his hoity-toity self on Martha's Vineyard recently.

Sarsgaard (who wants to play pirate?) was vacationing with his wife actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and their daughter Ramona, when he was apparently bitten by a starf**king tick and was forced to head home to NYC to recuperate.

That mess can be serious if not treated appropriately and promptly. Get well soon mysterious and aloof man.

$50 says Jesus Cruise didn't want Katie kissing anyone, looking hot or being around anyone hot. WAIT A SECOND! Aaron Eckhart (below) stars in the movie and Katie and Aaron had quite the sex scene in Thank You for Smoking! That's it! Jealous Tommy. What good is Scientology if it can't keep you from jealousy?

The Family That's Active Together...

** OK, so you've probably noticed I don't really post on the weekends. In the beginning I was posting for 10-14 hours a day (between tracking down stories, photos, labeling, writing, etc., the time adds up!) but then I started coaching soccer, playing volleyball on the weekends, enjoying the brewskies (spring'll do that to ya!) and we're remodeling our mast bathroom - so there is little precious time to post...Plus, everyone needs a break. Ten-fifteen hours a day 7 days a week takes the fun away. :)

I still rock the best large-high-res pics out there with a little twist (and try not to be too mean) so I hope you all come back around often!

I love this family. Jake Gyllenhaal is cute as can be and Maggie and Peter are cooler than cool. Would love a new shot of little Ramona!

Cutie Aniston At L.A. GLAAD Awards

The 18th Annual GLAAD Media awards - Los Angeles - were held last night to "recognize and honor mainstream media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives." The New York and L.A. ceremonies will air on LOGO on April 21.

Jake Gyllenhaal presented Jennifer Aniston (a personal fav) with the Vanguard Award for her work reflecting alternative families/lifestyles ("Friends" where off/on beau Ross's ex-wife an mother of his child was a lesbian...music video for Melissa Etheridge, etc.). Too bad we didn't get to see a better smooch between Aniston and Jake Gyllenhaal! *slurp*

Working out is very sexy (I should try it more often) because it says you value your health...and a really nice body...but mostly the health thing. Jake is a sexy beast in that innocent guy way - but I'm still not sure he was entirely "acting" in Brokeback Mountain.

Jake a ("Marvel")ous Superhero?

Does Jake Gyllenhaal want to be a superhero? Do you want him to be?

The NY Daily News says New Line Cinema is reportedly set on a DC Comic-Captain Marvel franchise along the lines of "Superman" and "Batman." Well you can't have a superhero franchise without a superhero and word is that director Peter Segal and his fellow producers want to snatch-up Gyllenhaal before he replaces Tobey Maguire as "Spider-Man" - since Tobey has all but said he's done with the franchise ("Spider-Man 3" is due to open May 4, '07).

Jake would look sweeeet in some tights. We know he leans that way anyhow. Does anyone think he was "acting" in Brokeback Mountain? I kid. I kid. ;)
