Christie Brinkley Has Back Surgery

Christie Brinkley's publicist has released a statement advising, "Last evening Christie Brinkley underwent emergency back surgery" at a Manhattan hospital. She reportedly injured her back in a skiing accident in Aspen, Colorado, last December. The pain and problems had worsened over the "past few days" necessitating surgery.

Personally, I saw Christie Brinkley with then husband Ricky Taubman in Telluride, Colorado, several years back a bit after her helicopter accident -- she was beautiful -- she glowed -- but she was shorter than I expected. I wish her WELL!
