Cashmere Mafia On-Set

Lucy Liu is part of what should be a pretty funny cast of gals starring in "Cashmere Mafia." The crew was together filming some of the pilot on Park Avenue in NYC and we mainly get to see Lucy although you do catch the backside and then side of co-star Miranda Otto. Haha.

The new series was created by Darren Star (of "Sex and the City," "Melrose Place" fame) and is about - brace yourselves - single, female, thirty-somethings in New York City. SHOCKING! It will surely be all about fashion, men & surviving as a working girl in the city.

You may only sort-of recognize these two chickies right now but you'll be seeing a lot of these two in the coming months.

Frances O'Connor and Miranda Otto have been cast as Zoe Burden and Caitlan Dowd, respectively, in Darren Star's Cashmere Mafia, his latest attempt at cashing in on single, female, thirty-somethings in NYC.

The pilot will begin shooting in NYC next month. I'll be checking this one out.

You may recognize Ms. O'Connor from A.I. (Artificial Intelligence, 2001) or Windtalkers (2002). Ms. Otto has been seen in What Lies Beneath (2000), War of the World, Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) or many others.
