Yeahhhhh! Maggie Gyllenhaal is in final negotiations to join the all-star cast of "The Dark Knight," Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures' sequel to "Batman Begins." She will play D.A. Rachel Dawes - Bruce Wayne's/Batman's love interest. Christian Bale is Wayne/Batman.
Dumb*ass Holmes was forced by controlling Tom withdrew from the film siting "scheduling conflicts."
Also starring: Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Heath Ledger & Aaron Eckhart. $100 says Tom didn't want Katie in the movie because she would be near Eckhart again and they shared steamy sex scenes in "Thank You for Smoking."
