McConaughey and Hudson Escape Deadly Jellyfish
Actress Kate Hudson and actor/naked bongo player Matthew McConaughey had to be evacuated from the set of their new movie when a deadly jellyfish was found on set.
The blond duo are shooting romantic comedy "Fool's Gold" in Queensland, Australia, and were preparing to act out their final scene in Hervey Bay when a marine expert spotted the Irukandji jellyfish. Everyone, including the cast and crew, was evacuated until the deadly creature was disposed of.
Hudson's publicist, Fiona Searson says, "We have a marine expert to ensure everyone's safe and he found the jellyfish...."It's an unusual problem to come across. Only in Australia, I suppose."
The Irukandji jellyfish is only about the size of a peanut but has been described by experts as one of the most deadly creatures alive.
