Love Denies Gastric-Band Rumors

Courtney Love is poo-pooing rumors she lost weight through gastric-band surgery.

As she often does, Love spoke out on her website:

"I couldn't get that surgery if I begged for it"..."I got my inspiration from Oprah losing so much weight on Slim-Fast."

In the same post she said she's friends again with Drew Barrymore and Gwyneth Paltrow, and that she knows who's due to star in an upcoming Courtney Love/Kurt Cobain biopic, "but cannot say. Very high-end and very A-list.

No Charges Against James Blunt

British singer James Blunt will not be prosecuted for an alleged hit and run at a pre-Oscar party in February.

Blunt and his then-girlfriend Petra Nemcova were leaving a party at Hollywood agent Bryan Lourd's house when Blunt reportedly drove his black SUV over the leg of an autograph seeker.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles city attorney's office says, "We've decided not to file any charges. We reserve the right to file charges at any time."

Lily's Goin' Down...Soon

Pop singer Lily Allen already pissed me off when she trash talked and bit the hand(s) that feed her. Last night she disappointed (probably pissed off) fans in Brooklyn, NY, when she pulled out of a gig at the very last minute. No reason has yet been given.

Allen, however, did play at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza Wednesday night. She apparently drank to calm her nerves announced to the crowd, "I'm a little drunk!"

She's now wearing a ring on her ring finger...engaged to ex-beau/beau Seb Chew? Probably not.

Is Elisabeth A Tennis Shue In?

"The Billies" honoring positive "portrayals of female athletes in media" were held this week and actress Elisabeth Shue ("Leaving Las Vegas"-"The Saint") stepped out with Carly Schroeder ("The Lizzie McGuire Show").

Shue said recently she is training to become a professional tennis player. What?

"It's always been a dream of mine. I don't think I'll be playing at the (tennis tournament) US Open, but, by September, I'd like to be competing professionally, even at the lowest level. I've been training so hard, now I feel like more of a tennis player than an actress."

Rose McGowan - BLECH!

OK, so maybe she didn't break-up "Grindhouse" director Robert Rodriguez's 15-16yr marriage - or maybe she did! Whatever. Did you see Rose on "The View" this week? Her face barely moved and she talked funny because her lips are all plumped up. It was really quite creepy if you ask me. Beautiful porcelain skin though.

KFed-Ex & Shar Part 2?

We all know Britney Spears's body and money pulled Kevin Federline away from his pregnant girlfriend (the couple already had 1 child) in 2004 - but could he be back in Shar's bed now that the Spears-Federline union is over?

KFed-Ex has been spending a lot of time with Shar Jackson and that's not abnormal considering they have two kids together (she has 2 with some other dude) - but "a source" told In Touch Weekly, "Shar was always there for Kevin. When things were really bad with Britney, she was a rock for him."

In February they denied the reunion but a KFed-Ex pal says it's only a matter of time before the couple reunite, adding, "Shar was his first love - plus, he's been saying how hot she looks."

She better look hot after spending $15k on a tummy tuck and breast lift! Now they have lots of money and Kevin actually brought some of it to the table this time...granted, it came from Brit but who cares!

Kidman's Life Of Private Jets & Awards *sigh*

What do you do when your home country of Australia wants to present you with the Companion of the Order of Australia at Government House in Canberra - the country's highest honor - for your work in charity? Well, if you're Nicole Kidman, you fly in on a private jet with hubby musician Keith Urban, head to the ceremony, then back to the airport and onto the private jet to head wherever next. Oh, and keep the medal around your neck until out of site. ;) Oh the life.

Big kudos to Nicole for her charity work and for putting up with crazy-arse Tom Cruise for as long as she did! The presentation...

Ashlee & Eyeliner/Tight Jeans Boy

Ashlee Simpson and her ugly boyfriend with horrible jeans, Pete Wentz, flew out of LAX yesterday and headed to NYC - hopefully not just for a the opening of nightclub "Runway."

The couple is staying at the Ritz-Carlton so be sure to wait outside to get your autographs...wait, can Pete write while wearing those jeans? Don't they cut off circulation to all appendages?
