Owen Wilson is recovering at home after he attempted suicide August 26 and it looks like his peeps are doing their best to keep ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson at bay.

"Kate has been trying to get in touch with Owen and is distraught that the
family doesn't want her anywhere near him," says a pal. "She is very frustrated."

The insider added: "[Owen's family members] don't think Kate is good for him."

Here is our first look at Owen Wilson post-suicide attempt. Yesterday I blogged Wilson had returned home from the hospital after trying to commit suicide on August 26th. I don't see bandages and I don't see any slash marks or scarring on his wrists. Could it have been solely a drug overdose?

I truly feel for the guy - despite this post six days before the attempted suicide. How was I to know he was in so much trouble?

Owen, stand strong man. Take all the time you need to get well. Movies can wait. Idiotic bloggers can wait. Your health is of the utmost importance and you can find happiness.

Road to Recovery

Many of us have wondered how actor Owen Wilson is doing since his suicide attempt less than a week ago and People is reporting he is now back at home under 24-hr watch.

"Owen is in bad mental shape but said he is thankful to be alive," says a source close to the actor, who had returned to his Santa Monica home on Saturday. "He knows he came close to ending his life, and he is happy that he was saved from himself. He is basically at home with people watching him 24/7."

It was August 26 when he reportedly slashed his wrists and may have taken excessive amounts of drugs in an attempt to end his life.

Hope he gets all the help he needs. Heroin and cocaine are no joke people (amongst many others). They'll destroy your self-worth and end your life (in one way or another).

Looks like Kate Hudson is having a great time back in California after a deadly jelly fish scare halted filming on her latest flick, "Fool's Gold" in Queensland, Australia.

Kate and Playboy Mansion groupie Owen Wilson lunched at Ivy On the Shore in Santa Monica yesterday (Friday, March 30). Owen's another dude I consider to have a dirty penis. Dirrr-tyyyy.

Kate & Owen Down Under

Two weeks ago they were hiding and Owen was pissy with the razzi. Fast forward to this lovely bike ride in Queensland, Australia, on Sunday.

I don't care...the guy still stinks of Playboy Mansion jiz. Ick.

She Was in Playboy?

I'm confused...I thought he only liked his chickies drunk and wearing lingerie at Hef's Mansion.

Nevertheless, these two were spotted last week in Australia's Gold Coast area. According to this report, they're not too happy about being photographed either:

Later in the afternoon, the pair ducked for cover when they spotted lenses outside the Pacific Fair cinema, where a pre-screening of Hudson's film, Fool's Gold, was being held for cast and crew members.

The pair walked hand-in-hand to the back door of the cinema but leapt apart and headed for separate doors when they realised a photographer was present. Wilson is widely known as the Mr Nice Guy of Hollywood, but he was so keen to avoid being snapped that he twice shoved the Bulletin photographer out of the way as he rushed up the stairs.

A fan waiting in the cinema foyer said she was shocked to see the star's violent outburst.
"We were going to ask him for a photograph but when we saw him trying to ram the photographer we were too scared, and we couldn't even look at him," said Jemima O'Neill. "We had been waiting for nearly two hours, but he was so angry we thought there is no way we are going to ask him for a photograph now."
