Salma's Not Lovin' The Bible

Salma Hayek has never been a fan of the Bible because she hates the way it depicts women and reveres sex. The Mexican actress insists she still believes in God and Jesus Christ, but she'll always have big problems with the Bible.

In an interview for Marie Claire magazine's May issue, given before announcing her pregnancy, Hayek explained, "I don't like the way the Bible views women - this thing about the Virgin Mary conceiving a child without having sex - so if you conceive a child by having sex, there's a subliminal message that there's something dirty about it.

"And this is what makes us divine - I mean, the possibility of creating another life should remind women that we are creators, that we are made like God in our ability. There is nothing greater than to create another human being."

Uh, Salma Deformed?

Apparently Ms. Sexy herself, actress Salma Hayek, is stunned to find herself a sex symbol in the US, because growing up in Mexico she was considered "deformed".

Pregnant Hayek, 40, reveals, "I have had my struggles. I am five foot, two inches and in Mexico it was important to be tall. I grew up in a world where beauty was not only tall, it was white and blonde with blue eyes. And I'm dark, have brown eyes and brown hair and I'm short.

People used to say that the short thing was a deformity. I was really upset about my height."

Yeah, what hope is there for anybody else if Salma Hayek is considered "deformed?" It's a good thing she came to America!

Can she possibly be only 3-4 months along? If so, this scares me for when I get pregnant because we have a similar build (naturally big boobs on decent size frame)! She looks at least 5 months to me.

Pregnant Salma Siting!

I'm posting the best ones - well, the ones where you can tell she's preggers 'cause the rest were from behind or a security guard was blocking her. These were snapped as she visited a friend in Hollywood on Sunday, March 18 ('07). The hat is ridiculous my dearest Salmy.


She wore black at the Vanessa Williams Hollywood Star ceremony yesterday so you couldn't really get a good sense of her pregnancy there.

Do any of you remember the news conference in which Vanessa announced she was relinquishing her Miss America 2004 crown (awarded 9/17/83) due to the controversy surrounding naked pictures of her that Penthouse magazine said they would release in their September issue? Vanessa sure has come a long way and now she has her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to prove it! *THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE & CHEERS*

Ms. Williams is still gorgeous and kicking arse in the entertainment world only "Ugly Betty." In the years since Vanessa Williams was crowned the first black Miss America, she has sang on Broadway, released Grammy-nominated albums and has acted on screens both big and small. On Monday, she received the 2,331st star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Her "Ugly Betty" castmates showed up to cheer for Williams at a ceremony in front of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel...(Home of "Teddy's" one of Lindsay Lohans favorite hangouts.) and it came only a day after her 44th birthday!

Said Salma Hayek, the show's executive producer:

"When we wrote the pilot for 'Ugly Betty,' we needed a villain and I was worried about who would play that character," said Salma Hayak, the show's executive producer. "We were so happy to get Vanessa. She is brilliant because she is so nasty on the show, but in reality she is the sweetest person."

Others who attended the ceremony included producer Peter Gruber, actress Rebecca Romijn and Williams' brother, Chris, a cast member on the new Fox series "The Wedding Bells."

"Vanessa is a template for anyone to realize that by dreaming big and believing in yourself, you can overcome any seemingly insurmountable obstacle and that through hard work and perseverance, no one can limit what or who you are," he said.

It was just Tuesday, March 6, that I addressed Salma Hayek doing it Ugly Betty Style and now Salma's publicist acknowledges Ms. Hayek is preggers!

Doing it old Hollywood-style, Hayek is now engaged to Francois-Henri Pinault - chairman and chief executive officer of the luxury goods company PPR SA, which owns high-end labels such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Stella McCartney.

That's my Salma! Preggers by a guy who can "keep up his end of the bargain!"

Did any of you know there was an Annual Anatomy Awards? I sure didn't.

Nevertheless, Jennifer Aniston won the award for Best PG-13 Nude Scene for her "bum shot" in 2006's The Break-Up. Salma Hayek won Best Breasts for her booby flashing in Ask The Dust...Ask The Dust? Missed that one. I suppose hubby will want to rent it now.
