That's right, a little Depp will do-ya. Johnny Depp is an original and will never go out of style. He could walk around like a pretty boy touting that "I'm hot" look - but he doesn't.

While Johnny Depp was looking like a sexy dirty slab of meat at a Venice Film Festival event honoring director Tim Burton - his wife Vanessa Paradis(I think they married recently...both are wearing wedding-like rings) was pimping her new CD "Divinidylle" on "Le Grand Journal".

My goodness, that gap never ceases to amaze me. Everyone things Madonna should fill hers but Vanessa's is "mayjah!"

These were snapped on the London set of "Sweeney Todd" which should be released in the US this December unless his daughter's recent hospitalization set back the movie into 2008.

Depp's Daughter Had E.Coli

London- Johnny Depp's daughter Lily Rose, 7-yrs-old, was hospitalized for nine days at the end of February into March with what was originally reported as blood poisoning from an untreated puncture wound after she stepped on a rusty nail.

However, production staff on Depp's latest movie have now revealed what the illness was and claim the deadly e.coli virus caused Lily-Rose's kidneys to shut down.

An insider on "Sweeney Todd" is quoted by Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Everyone was shocked when we were told the real reason for Lily-Rose's illness. It was touch and go for her for a while."

Depp and long-time partner, Vanessa Paradis, kept a bedside vigil while Lily Rose struggled. She was deemed well enough to go home the evening of March 8th. The couple has also a 5-yr-old son - John Jack.

Depp's Daughter Home From Hospital

Thursday night, March 8, was finally the time Johnny Depp was able to take daughter Lily-Rose home from the hospital to their London hotel. Lily-Rose (7) had been hospitalized for nine days and her parents (mom is Vanessa Paradis) remained at her bedside.

The initial reports of her illness did not include any specifics, however, we later learned Lily-Rose suffered blood poisoning after stepping on a rusty nail and going untreated.

Johnny's spokesman Robin Baum said: "We are happy to report that their daughter is doing much better. The family greatly appreciates the continued support and respect of their privacy."

Johnny Depp, 43, and hise long-time partner Vanessa Paradis, 34, are holding vigil at daughter Lily-Rose's hospital bedside after she was struck down by the undisclosed illness nine days ago.

The Mirror claims it knows what medical condition Lily-Rose is suffering from, but have decided to withhold it from the press out of respect for the privacy of Depp's family.

Depp had been filming Sweeney Todd in London and Buckinghamshire when his daughter was rushed to hospital last week (ends02MAR07).

A hospital source says, "He has not asked for any special favours but just wants the best for his child, like any parent.

"It is such a difficult time for him but he is hanging in there for the sake of his daughter and the whole family is just praying that she gets better. They are taking each day as it comes.

"It's been an emotional roller coaster for all of them and he's been worrying himself silly. He's a devoted dad and is spending as much time as he can with Lily."

Depp and French model/actress Paradis also have a four-year-old son JACK.
