Yeahhh Amanda Peet!

Here's what I reported yesterday.

It has now been confirmed that Ms. Amanda, 36, did indeed give birth to a little girl Tuesday. Amanda and hubby David Benioff, 36 & star of Syriana, named the itty-bitty Frances Pen. Why 'Pen' and not 'Pencil' you ask? Little Frances is named after Amanda's mom Penny.

Love Amanda and love Studio 60! Best health to the new fam.

Sucka for Babies

Not really blogging right now because celebrities and their ridiculousness started eating my brain and I needed a break (plus I had some "procedures" today. No, no plastic surgery...though a boob lift, nose job, skin resurfacing and botox would really go a long way! Damn media. You are to blame for my low self-esteem. I bare no responsibility. You are Satan in Prada and a CL heels....but I digress.

We can't possibly live our entire lives investigating the "truth" behind Britney's latest baby/trainwreck drama or her latest vajayjay/panties flashing.

That being said, I couldn't pass up these pics of Amanda Peet and her little Frances Pen (born February 20). -- You need to be watching Amanda, Matthew Perry and a billion other great actors in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Ya hearrrd.

-- Peet's a true actress and not an imposter so following her is more dignified than, say, obsessing about Lindsay Lohan snorting coke in a bathroom stall. Just a little.

Oscar De La Renta's Ladies

Mr. Oscar De La Renta himself just opened a new boutique in Beverly Hills (shouldn't he have had one there fifty years ago?!) and some girly girls got gussied up to attend the special opening on Wednesday (April 18).

Attendees included Amanda Peet, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Garner, Angie Harmon, Kristin Davis & Lauren Graham.

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE AMANDA ON STUDIO 60 AGAIN! Oops, I yelled that didn't I?! Well, I LOVE THAT SHOW and I LOVE AMANDA ON IT! ;) The gorgeous gal just gave birth to little Frances Pen on February 20.

Cutie Amanda Peet was on the Late Show with David Letterman last night and she was snapped outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater. Such history in that theater.

Do any of you watch Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip? You should. It's a great show and Ms. Amanda is excellent as Jordan McDeere the "newly appointed network president of the National Broadcast System that airs Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." They better not let her die!

Did Amanda Peet Give Birth?

Word on the street is that Ms. Amanda missed an industry party earlier in the week because she went into labor! She wasn’t due until early March so I hope everything is alright.

More to come on this one I’m sure. By the way, if you’re not watching Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip then you are totally missing out! Give it a shot -- It is funny, witty, entertaining, and it’s fun to see behind-the-scenes stuff.

Some Fugly & Some Pretty

The Metropolitan Museum of Art helds it's annual Art Costume Institute Gala last night in New York. Um, there were some hits and some major misses on the dress front.

Jennifer Connelly is a mysterious goddess and she looks stunning. However, I cannot stand heels that fail to contain the little toe. It looks incredibly uncomfortable - and it is!...

Jennifer Lopez looked ultra-glamorous and I actually approve of her make-up in these pics. Skeletor (or Mr. JLo) still completely skeeves me out...sorry...can't help it...

Angie Harmon was clearly channeling the 80's and Dynasty - that dress is straight up hideous...

Eva Mendes looked pretty and glamorous but Michael Kors looks like David Gest on a good night...ick...

Christina Ricci looked vavavoom but I'm not a fan of hot pink lipstick...

Chloe Sevigny could seriously have done something with her hair - how boring. She's cool though...

Claire Danes looks alright...

I love Amanda Peet but that dress looks like she made it the night before in her hotel room...

Mega Preggers Amanda Peet

Woahhhhh, watching her on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is deceiving. I mean, I know they shoot weeks/months in advance...but DANNNNNG! She only looks about four months pregnant in current episodes.

It's great to see her out and about...proud of that baby belly. ROCK ON PREGNANT CHICAS! And ROCK ON Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip - AWESOME SHOW!
