Security Guard For Ireland Baldwin
Oh man, things are just ugly with this family - at least right now. If you hadn't heard, Alec Baldwin let a horrendous message on his daughter Ireland's cell phone in which he called her a "pig" amongst other things.
A rep for mom Kim Basinger denied the actress linked the voicemail recording but has confirmed that, "Kim did hire security in response to the media attention on her daughter in order to allow Ireland to maintain her regular routine and activities uninterrupted."
Basinger is reportedly hoping Baldwin would "finally address his unstable and irrational behavior so he, at some point, can potentially create a relationship with his daughter."

I just wanted to comment that I suspected it was Ireland herself who contacted TMZ....kids are very creative/conniving when it comes to forestalling the trouble that's coming.....I could be wrong but eleven yr olds are very hip these days and know all about the gossip sites!
