CONTINUOUS BREAKING NEWS: 33 Dead So Far In Virginia Tech Massacre
* UPDATE: 33 are now confirmed dead (including the gunman) and at least 15 others are injured - some of them were injured after jumping from 4th floor windows to escape the shooter. Five are known to be in stable condition.
* Original Post: If you haven't already heard, there was a horrific massacre this morning at the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Thirty-one are already confirmed dead and dozens of others are hospitalized - the death toll will most likely rise.
The shooter was described as a school-age (18-20+) Asian-American male who shot and killed himself after murdering all of these helpless people. Of course, information is still new so we don't really know exactly who this person was or what his background was.
This is the worst school shooting since a University of Texas shooting in 1966 where where Charles Whitman climbed to the 28th-floor observation deck of a clock tower and opened fire killing 16 people. None of us can forget the Columbine High School shootings in 1999 in which two students killed 12 fellow students and a teacher before killing themselves.

I can't believe this has happened again...psychos with guns and there you go...horrible.
Absolutely awful. I'm with you Windwhisperer, how does this keep happening? And this time it was incredibly destructive. 31 people dead already? CRAZY.
I know we're all pulling for those still fighting for their lives.
