Dictionary.com's Word of the Day

sonorous \suh-NOR-uhs; SAH-nuh-rus\, adjective:
1. Giving sound when struck; resonant; as, sonorous metals.
2. Loud-sounding; giving a clear or loud sound; as, a sonorous voice.
3. Yielding sound; characterized by sound; as, the vowels are sonorous.
4. Impressive in sound; high-sounding.

Shall we use it in a sentence?:

Hollywood released a sonorous cry when told its drug supply would run dry by March 1st, 2007. What’s more, said drug supply would not be replenished unless and until everyone agrees to a maximum-per-picture payout of $100,000.00.

How’d I do? You guys should take a stab at it! Do share.
